the rule for this picture is balance cause it has 2 equal sides and it is even.

the picture is balance because it is even to both sides.
the picture is unbalanced because one side looks more even than the other side.

the guy is caught on fire and he is trying to run off the fire: its a rule of third because its an image of design.
the lady is walking in down a long forest and she looks like she knows where she is going.
it is an Olympic race and the guy that is ahead of everyone he is going to win the race. it is a rule of third because it is an image that was made for a design

rules of photography part 2

Rule of Thirds: should position the most important elements in your scene along these lines, or at the points where they intersect.
Balance/Balancing Elements: Placing your main subject off centre, as with the rule of thirds, creates a more interesting photo, but it can leave a void in the scene which can make it feel empty.
Lines/Leading Lines: look at a photo our eye is naturally drawn along lines.
Simplicity/Background:
Framing: The world is full of objects which make perfect natural frames, such as trees, archways and holes. By placing these around the edge of the composition you help to isolate the main subject from the outside world. The result is a more focused image which draws your eye naturally to the main point of interest.
